Our facility is located in Highland, NY, a charming Hudson Valley town known for its scenic trails, vineyards, and proximity to the Hudson River. Highland offers a perfect blend of small-town charm and natural beauty. It’s a vibrant community with a rich history, making it a wonderful place to live and work. Our location has the added benefit of being just a short drive (about 1.5 hours) from New York City.
We are searching for a bright, positive, and driven DVM who is passionate about veterinary medicine. As a veterinarian at Compassion Veterinary Center, you will perform medical, surgical, and dental procedures. You will also provide preventive care and diagnose and treat pet illnesses and injuries. Effective communication with pet owners and team members is essential to delivering exceptional care. You will be expected to maintain accurate patient records with Scribenote AI dictation software to ensure compliance with all relevant veterinary laws and regulations. While we welcome new graduates looking for a veterinarian job, we require you to have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent and be licensed to practice in New York State.
